Kelly Zieba, Director of School Age Services

Kelly M. Zieba has over 14 years experience in the field of public recreation and is currently the Director of School Age Services for the Town of Longmeadow with the Longmeadow Parks and Recreation Department.  She has presented numerous trainings in Behavior Management, Team Building, Multiple Intelligences, and Child Safety.  She also served the Department as the Teen Center Assistant Director and Group Leader for the After School Program.  Kelly has created new programs for the Department such as Panache Parties and enhanced events such as the Summer Concert Series.  She has developed the School Age programs that stand as a pillar example for other OCCS-bound programs.  Prior to coming to Longmeadow, Kelly served both the East Longmeadow Recreation Department and the Springfield Parks and Recreation Department.  She was a paraprofessional with the East Longmeadow School System and worked at the Springfield YMCA, implementing the School’s Out Program.  In 1997-1998, Kelly was the Freshman Softball Coach for the East Longmeadow High School team.

Kelly received her bachelor’s degree from Westfield State College in Mass Communications.  She also completed some post-graduate work in the field of elementary education.  Kelly is an active member of the Massachusetts School Age Coalition and actively participates with the Preschool Enrichment Team.  Kelly is certified in First Aid and CPR and holds a 7-D Pupil Transport license.
