Longmeadow Parks and Recreation offers half day and all day traditional camp experiences along with specialty and sports camp options for your child. The majority of our camp programs are licensed with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and are licensed by the Longmeadow Board of Health. These camps are designated by the “Licensed” next to the camp name. If a camp is not licensed it still complies with our strict guidelines for a safe and exceptional camp experience. Our Summer Day Camp programs are now peanut free environments in response to the growing number of children who have allergies.

Our 2008 Summer Day Camp Parent Handbook is available here. Please keep this handbook to use as a guide throughout the summer.

Due to these licensing requirements, you must submit for each child enrolled in our Camps, a Health Information form and a certificate of immunization (signed by a physician) with proof of Chicken Pox and Polio immunity. These forms are available at the time of registration and on-line at www.lprd.net. They must be completed and turned in prior to your child starting the camp program.
