Greenwood Children’s Center is now latex, peanut and tree nut free in response to the increase incidence of food allergies in children. Please plan accordingly and do not send snacks or lunch in with your child(ren) that contain any nut products. Thank you for your cooperation and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Kelly Zieba at Greenwood Children’s Center at 413.565.4163 or contact kzieba@longmeadow.org.

Greenwood Park will be filled with lots of children and weeks packed with fun filled activities for all ages, interests and abilities. We made a lot of positive changes that were well received by both parents and participants last summer and this year, we will offer some new and exciting activities for your children to enjoy.

All day camps will meet at Greenwood Park again this year so that all campers can enjoy and utilize the new additions to our summer programs. This will also alleviate transportation and dropping off and picking up your children at multiple sites. This will also give the children an opportunity to enjoy our new splashpad during the day in addition to the pool.

The camp names we used last year are back again this year. The changes that we made at Greenwood were very successful and all the children benefited from the variety of programming opportunities that are available at Greenwood each day. We have revamped every aspect of camp in order to create the most enjoyable atmosphere for all that attend. Each unit will be assigned their own counselors, and travel throughout the day to specials such as Sports, Art, and Drama, as well as swim lessons and free swim. Those who stay for Extended Camp will also enjoy another free swim. The day will end with an all-camp meeting where team spirit will be encouraged.

Camp Open House
Our Open House for new campers and returning campers is scheduled for Friday, June 25 from 4:30pm-5:30pm at Greenwood Children’s Center and Greenwood Park.
