Celebrate Halloween in Salem, MA
Living in New England in the late 1600’s evoked fear and suspicion. Nowhere did this happen more than in Salem, Massachusetts. Our destination today is the seaside village of Salem, MA where each Halloween the town is turned into a celebration called “A Haunted Happening”. Our trip today will take us to downtown Salem where participants can tour Salem Witch Museum and the House of Seven Gables. Go back in time and visit the cemetery that is the final resting place for young girls who were accused of being witches in a time when panic was setting in. The downtown area will be the site of vendors and exhibits dedicated to Halloween and the spirit of this haunted holiday.
