Schools Out, Lets Play for Grades 1-6
Make vacation special! There is limited space available for care of Longmeadow children in Grades 1-6 during the February and April school vacations. Sign up now to ensure your spot! Children will take part in a wide variety of fun activities, field trips, outdoor play, etc. Please send a "peanut" free lunch each day. You may sign up for the days of your choice. Watch for a detailed flier with information about daily events that will be distributed through the Longmeadow Public and Parochial Schools. Please register by Thursday, February 11 for February vacation and Thursday, April 15 for April Vacation.

Vacation Open Swim Times
Ages 10 and older (younger participants welcome with parental supervision) can come and swim at the heated indoor pool. Changing rooms and showers are available. Lifeguard on duty.

Soccer Clinics for Ages 7-11
Girls and Boys get out your shin guards and get ready to run, kick, and defend the goal. Brad Miller will be offering Soccer Clinics for kids at Greenwood Childrens Center during February vacation and Greenwood Park during April vacation. Brad Miller is the Director of Next Level Adventures and Coach of the Longmeadow High School Boys Soccer Team. Join Brad and fellow soccer enthusiasts for hours of fun and excitement learning and playing soccer.

Spring Baseball Clinic for Ages 7-12
Longmeadow's Spring Baseball Clinic for girls and boys, ages 7-12 is under the direction of Chris Corkum of Chris Corkum's Baseball Camps, Inc. Chris coaches extensively throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. Chris and his staff will provide instruction in fielding, throwing, hitting, pitching and physical conditioning. Each child's strengths and weaknesses will be evaluated to allow for growth based on individual needs. Rain date is Wed., April 21.

Art-Venture Workshops for ages 5-12
with Lets Gogh Art
When children experience art, they think, they discover, they thrive! Lets Gogh Art provides hands-on, art-based activities enjoyed in a stress free and nurturing environment. With a bit of whimsy and wacky, Lets Gogh Art helps art explorers think outside the box about art as it related to the amazing world we live in. Lets Gogh Art creates some fun and kids create some works of Art! Tara Kilroy, Instructor.
Tuesday
Time to Clay: Artists will create with clay and paint a ceramic box in this very popular workshop. Participants experience several different types of clay while creating covered pinch pots and coil art forms, mosaics tiles, pencil erasers or creatures and aliens.

Wednesday
Art-Chitects: Budding architects experience the art of building and design in this fun and creative workshop. Participants will decorate a hard hat, create a structure using some wacky recycled objects, build with magic noodles and try their hand at a towers and turret collage. Artists will learn about some wicked cool architecture from around the world. Wow, wait till you see the creativity flow!

Thursday
Edible Fun Shop: Yummy fun for starving artists!! Literally artists make their own masterpiece and eat it too during this incredible edible workshop. Artists will decorate their own chefs hat and make an edible color wheel. Participants will experience the art of mosaics while making an edible tile and then create some vegetable people to eat. And who knows what else. Bring your imaginations and an empty stomach. (Not many creations make it home after this workshop!) No peanut or peanut oil products will be used during this workshop.

Friday
Snakes, Bugs and Frogs, Oh My! A very cool but creepy workshop! Artists create their own t-shirt with fabric paint and stencils then design and paint a wooden flexible snake (think glitter!) go on a bug hunt and then explore the art of decoupage while making a box for your bug to live in. Create a pond scene for a frog and expect a few surprises!
